Acquisition of M.A.T. MALMEDIE ANTRIEBSTECHNIK
A big step towards the future: As of 1st July 2025, RINGFEDER POWER TRANSMISSION has acquired the well-established company M.A.T. MALMEDIE ANTRIEBSTECHNIK GMBH, based in Solingen, Germany. The leading drive technology specialist develops, manufactures and supplies a comprehensive portfolio of innovative coupling solutions, particularly for advanced applications in heavy machinery construction, in the mining and steel industry as well as in crane and hoist facilities for port and container handling.
RINGFEDER® ECE: Zero Backlash, Maximum Flexibility
Elastomer Jaw Couplings of our series RINGFEDER® ECE stand for backlash-free, vibration-damping power transmission and maximum reliability in a wide range of industrial and precision applications. Whether equipped with hubs made of aluminum, steel or cast iron: Thanks to their compact design, maintenance-free operation and torque capacities of up to 4,500 Nm (3,320 ft·lb), these couplings are the ideal solution for drives in, for example, servo, hydraulic, pump and general mechanical engineering applications.
