Vibration damping, rotationally resilient, fail-safe, misalignment compensating: Elastomer Jaw Couplings of the RINGFEDER® TNM series – previously TSCHAN® TNM and NOR-MEX® – set standards worldwide in terms of flexibility, cost-effectiveness and performance. The universally applicable couplings compensate for shaft misalignments in all directions and allow for critical torsional vibrations from the operating range of plant machinery to be shifted to areas where no adverse effects on the drive train occur. The torque is transmitted via pressure-loaded elastomers made of high-quality Perbunan, which are joined to form a shock- and vibration-damping intermediate ring that is oil-resistant and electrically conductive. These highly durable intermediate rings, which are quick and easy to replace, especially in the case of multi-part coupling designs, are provided in different material hardnesses – depending on customer requirements and application-specific needs. The axially pluggable RINGFEDER® Elastomer Couplings of the TNM series can be used in a temperature range from -30 °C to +100 °C as well as in any installation position and direction of rotation. Thanks to their modular design, they are available to users as standard in a superior range of sizes and variants, e.g. in single- and multi-part versions or with integrated brake disc or drum, as well as highly customized special solutions.
