Steel Disc Couplings RLDS & RLDM

Our Steel Disc Couplings of the RINGFEDER^® RLDS and RLDM series – originating from the proven RATHI^® RLM, RLMK, REM and RSK coupling types – combine the highest torsional stiffness, backlash-free torque transmission and high power density for demanding industrial applications. They are particularly suitable for drives with high rotational speeds as well as for applications with the highest requirements in terms of precision, reliability and service life. The torsionally rigid couplings transmit torque backlash- and wear-free via high-quality stainless steel disc packs while simultaneously compensating for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignments. Thanks to their robust design and low restoring forces, they ensure smooth and reliable system operation. Depending on application requirements, the RINGFEDER^® RLDS series offers versatile types with a radially removable transmission unit, while the RINGFEDER^® RLDM series provides solutions specifically designed for high-speed applications. Both series are compliant with API 610 and API 671 and therefore meet the highest requirements of the oil and gas industry, power generation, process technology, as well as general machinery and plant engineering.
