Our Steel Disc Couplings of the RINGFEDER® TND series – originating from the proven TSCHAN® POSIMIN® and GERWAH® product lines – combine the highest torsional stiffness, absolute freedom from backlash as well as wear- and maintenance-free performance in demanding industrial applications. They are particularly suitable for drive systems requiring the highest levels of positioning accuracy, operational reliability and misalignment capability. The torsionally rigid couplings transmit torque precisely and reliably via high-quality disc packs made of stainless spring steel while simultaneously compensating for angular, axial and, depending on the coupling type, also radial shaft misalignments. Thanks to FEM-optimized disc packs, low restoring forces and high running accuracy, they ensure smooth and reliable system operation even at high rotational speeds. Depending on the application requirements, HD (High Deflection) disc packs for maximum misalignment capability or HT (High Torque) disc packs for maximum torque capacity are available. Furthermore, the extensive modular design system with different hub, connection and spacer variants enables optimal adaptation to individual drive concepts and specific customer requirements.
