Elastomer Jaw Couplings RLES

Elastomer Jaw Couplings of the RINGFEDER^® RLES series provide a powerful and versatile solution for reliable shaft-to-shaft connection in a wide range of industrial applications. Based on the proven RATHI^® JAW-FLEX L, SW and RRS coupling types, they offer high operational reliability, effective vibration damping and long service life. The torsionally elastic, fail-safe and axially pluggable couplings reliably compensate for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignments while reducing shock loads, torsional vibrations and fluctuating loads within the drivetrain. Thanks to their backlash-free torque transmission, they contribute to smooth running characteristics and a high level of process reliability. To ensure optimal adaptation to different installation and service requirements, the series is available as type RLES L with elastomer spider, type RLES SW with radially removable elastic intermediate ring, and type RLES RRS with spacer and likewise radially removable elastic intermediate ring. Hubs and spacers are available in aluminum, sintered iron or cast iron, allowing application-specific optimization with regard to weight, performance and cost efficiency. Elastomer elements made of nitrile rubber, polyurethane or H-Trans are available in various shore hardnesses, enabling application-specific adjustment of damping and stiffness characteristics. Combined with their high resistance to numerous chemicals, they provide robust, low-wear coupling solutions for economical and low-maintenance operation.
