Torsionally rigid and low-backlash Gear Couplings of the RINGFEDER^® TNZ series – originating from the proven TSCHAN^® TNZ and POSIFLEX^® product lines – ensure the reliable transmission of high to very high torques in demanding industrial and heavy-duty applications worldwide. Typical fields of application include material handling systems, mixers, rolling mills, roller tables and a wide range of drives used in the steel, raw material, energy and heavy industries. Manufactured from high-quality steel, the couplings transmit torque through crowned geared hubs and straight-toothed sleeves. This design provides high power density while simultaneously allowing compensation of axial, radial and angular shaft misalignments. High-quality gear teeth combined with grease lubrication containing extreme-pressure additives ensure low restoring forces, minimal wear and long service life. Thanks to their modular design concept, the couplings can be flexibly adapted to a wide variety of application requirements, for example through the integration of spacers, torsion shafts, brake discs, brake drums or types for vertical installation.
