Fail-Safe Shaft-Shaft Connection with Pins and Elastic Rubber Elements
The RINGFEDER® Pin & Bush Couplings of the RLB series are tried-and-tested flexible pin couplings that are characterized by simple handling, easy installation and a long service life. B They are used in industrial applications worldwide - often installed thousands of times in a wide variety of drive systems. Whether directly between the motor and gearbox or on the output side: RLB couplings offer a robust and flexible solution for power transmission and damping of shocks and vibrations.
Typical applications include fan drives, heavy-duty and crane drives, escalators, systems in the cement industry, cable cars, extruders, crushers, mixers and all types of conveyor systems.
The RLB coupling is also available with a spacer for larger shaft distances - for example in pump drives. This design allows the spacer to be quickly removed radially without having to dismantle the hubs from the shafts. The spacers usually consist of welded tubes and flanges and can be adapted to the respective application on request. Markings ensure that existing balancing qualities are retained after reassembly.
Thanks to their flexible design options, high operational reliability and easy maintenance, RINGFEDER® RLB couplings are among the preferred solutions for demanding industrial drives.
Pin & Bush Couplings of the RINGFEDER® RLB series are particularly convincing due to the following features:
For maximum safety in explosion-endangered areas, RINGFEDER® RLB can of course be supplied in compliance with ATEX according to Product Directive 2014/34/EU and DIN EN ISO 80079-36:2016 if required.
Moreover, please observe the detailed selection and operating criteria in the documents RINGFEDER® Product Guide and Tech Paper Pin & Bush Couplings RINGFEDER® RLB.
