Elastomer Jaw Couplings ECE

Elastomer Jaw Couplings of the series RINGFEDER^® ECE – formerly ECOLOC^® ECE – are designed for backlash-free and vibration-damping power transmission in a wide range of industrial and precision applications. They consist of two accurately machined hubs made of either aluminium, steel or cast iron, and a polyurethane elastomer spider available in three different Shore hardnesses. This allows the couplings to be precisely matched to the torque, stiffness and damping requirements of the specific application. The robust design enables backlash-free torque transmission while simultaneously providing vibration damping and effective compensation of axial, radial and angular shaft misalignment. With a torque capacity up to 4,500 Nm, rotational speeds up to 19,000 1/min and bore diameters ranging from 6 to 110 mm, the series covers an exceptionally broad application spectrum. The couplings are highly compact, maintenance-free, easy to install and electrically insulating, making them particularly suitable for use in servo drives, hydraulic systems, pumps and general mechanical engineering.
