As of 1st July 2025, RINGFEDER POWER TRANS­MISSION is taking over the well-established company M.A.T. MALMEDIE AN­TRIEBS­TECH­NIK GMBH, based in Solingen, Germany – thus once again strengthening both its product portfolio and its market presence.

With about 50 employees and an annual turnover of approx. 15 Mio. Euros, MALMEDIE ANTRIEBSTECHNIK is one of the leading German manufacturers of specialized mechanical coupling technology and so-called Snag Overload Systems for a wide range of industrial applications. The company was founded in 1873 and has a sales office in Allentown, USA, as well as a global sales network in Asia, Europe, North and South America.

After more than two decades, the previous owner Dr. Rahim Gross is handing over responsibility for the company to RINGFEDER POWER TRANSMISSION: "This solution ensures stability, carries on the values of MALMEDIE and opens up new, long-term prospects for the future of the company.", emphasizes Dr. Gross. MALMEDIE will remain an independent company based in Solingen and will continue all business activities as usual under the new ownership. The existing customer and supplier relationships and contacts will remain unchanged.
