Backlash-free, vibration damping, electrically isolating and axially pluggable: High-precision and reliably working Elastomer Jaw Couplings of the RINGFEDER^® GWE series – originally GERWAH^® GWE – are particularly convincing in applications where high positioning accuracy in highly accelerated processes requires outstanding damping of occurring vibrations or where pluggable coupling solutions are preferred. Typical fields of application are e.g. measuring, precision and feed drives, grinding, turning and milling spindles, wood and metal working machines as well as transfer and conveyor technology, packaging machines, robotics, linear technology and test benches. The heart of the Elastomer Couplings of the RINGFEDER^® GWE series is the elastomer ring, available in different shore hardnesses and located between the two coupling hubs. It transmits the required torque backlash-free, effectively compensates angular, radial and axial shaft misalignment and ensures vibration-optimised running behaviour of the entire drive train.
